Artistic Director Katie Grand and filmmaker Ruth Hogben teamed up to produce this powdery, feathery piece to be showcased at the upcoming exhibition: Louis Vuitton Marc Jacobs. The aesthetic of the film is an homage to Busby Berkeley, acclaimed Hollywood movie director and musical choreographer from the 1940s and 1950s. Geometric dance routines, graphic patterns and kaleidoscopic compositions propel the audience into a mesmerizing visual universe where mirrors and multiplications run the show.

Entitled Fan Club, the film focuses on the history of Louis Vuitton’s bags and shoes since Marc Jacobs joined the house in 1997. This lovely mini-retrospective becomes even more uplifting when you get carried away with its perfect soundtrack, Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney 1940’s tune “Drummer Boy”. Hat-in-hand to the troupe!
